About POMAIN
POMAIN Conference 2026
is a free youth leadership and development conference created to bridge the gap between young people and the transformative experiences that conferences, leaders and professional networks can provide.
For many young people, attending impactful conferences remains difficult because of financial constraints, location and time. POMAIN hereby brings that experience closer to young people in Ile-Ife, Osun State and beyond.
The maiden edition, themed
"OMOWE UPRISING — The Rise of Intellectual Leaders," will bring together secondary school students, university students, corps members and young people aged 16–40 for an experience filled with leadership conversations, inspiring stories, practical learning, networking and opportunities to serve and volunteer.
Through exposure to leaders and professionals across different fields, POMAIN seeks to help young people see what is possible, think bigger, develop a leader's mindset and recognize that they can lead and create impact from wherever they are.
POMAIN is not just about attending a conference. It is about creating access, sparking ambition and raising young people who are prepared to lead.

At the maiden edition, participants can look forward to: Hear from leaders and professionals across politics, business, entrepreneurship, technology, finance, health, media, entertainment, academics and more. Learn the "how-to" of leadership, influence, communication, decision-making and personal growth. Listen to real stories that can challenge your thinking, expand your vision and encourage you to dream bigger. Leave understanding that you don't need a title to lead, you can create positive influence wherever you are. POMAIN will create opportunities for young people to share ideas, showcase their abilities and connect with people who can help them grow.

Meet the Convener
Olorunshola Mary, Abiodun
Olorunshola Mary, Abiodun is currently a National Youth Service Corps Member, a Food Science and Technology graduate, leadership advocate, and personal brand educator, passionate about helping young people lead with purpose and excellence. She served as the first female Students' Union Government (SUG) President of Federal University Oye-Ekiti, where she championed student representation while successfully balancing the demands of leadership with academic responsibilities. Through her work, she inspires students to embrace leadership, build strong personal brands, and pursue excellence without compromising their education.
